Round 4 of the Europeans - Orlyonok, Russia

June 2019

Todd's first European round just himself and his girlfriend, Lucy, and one he will never forget!

Many hours went into the organisation and preparation to get themselves over there, totally solo and independent. 

​

Race 1, he had a good start but used his head round the first turn leaving him leading the pack. Pressured on and off throughout the whole race from the 62 machine of Lusbo, the 2 laps board came out, Todd put the hammer down and pulled a reasonable gap making the last lap slightly more relaxing brining his first ever European race win home! 

Todds start wasn't the best in race 2 after getting a bit closer to championship rival Kovar, half way up the start straight, but a good few corners and he was back up to 2nd behind Ando. Crossing the finish in 2nd position meant the top step of the podium was Todd's! 

The national anthem was played at what will probably be the furthest race we will ever attend!
